The Minnesota Political Contribution Refund Program

Abby’s campaign is eligible for the Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program. The PCR program allows eligible Minnesota voters to be reimbursed by the State of Minnesota for up to $75 of what they donate to qualifying local campaigns like Abby’s.

How PCR works:

  • Make a donation through Anedot or by check:

  • Abby’s campaign will mail you a receipt and a PCR form.
  • Fill out the form and mail it with the receipt to the address on the form before Tax Day 2027.
  • Receive your reimbursement from the State of Minnesota within a few weeks.

Contribution Rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.

Contributions or gifts are not tax deductible.

The maximum amount an individual may contribute to a candidate for Minnesota State Senate is $1,000 per election segment of the election cycle, and $1,000 per nonelection segment.

Minnesota law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, employer, and occupation of individuals whose contributions to this committee exceed $200 in aggregate within the year.
